Respite Support

Respite Care:
Respite programs provide planned short-term and time-limited breaks for families and other unpaid care givers of adults with a developmental delay or disability in order to support and maintain the primary care giving relationship.
In-home respite
A temporary caregiver comes to the regular care receiver’s home, and provies relief care.
Specialized facility
Another model uses a specialized, local facility where the care receiver may stay for a few days or a few weeks.
Sitter Companion
Provides friendly respite care for a few hours to relief regular care givers
Therapeutic adult day care
Therapeutic adult daycare may provide respite care during business hours on week days.
Residential Care:
Homes of 2, 3 or 4 full time residents. Our goal is to help people live fully in their community which includes access to and use of generic amenities and services.
